What is Baptism?

Baptism is a sacred step of affirming your faith in Jesus.

Baptism is the Father's public affirmation of you as his son or daughter through faith in Jesus (Matthew 3:13-17). Baptism is a physical experience that deepens a spiritual experience -- your immersion into the death of Christ (Acts 6:26-40; Romans 6:-14).

Contrary to popular understanding baptism is not first and foremost something you do for God. Baptism is first and foremost about what Jesus has done for you; it is something God does for you!
